Polis Direct selected BEA WebLogic Portal and Componence Portletsuite for its new portal platform. The platform integrates with the innovative ERP insurance platform of IDIT. IDIT is used by Polis Direct for all its backoffice processes. Polis Direct strategy is to move their complete business to the web in order to generate more online revenues and to reduce operational costs. The new portal of Polis Direct will offer functionality like insurance calculating functionality, personal portal page, campaign management for up and cross selling and transaction management. The new platform of Polis Direct integrates transactions and content and enables the business people of Polis Direct to maintain the portal without IT involvement!
