AGIS healthcare insurances have launched their new intranet. It offers AGIS the possibility to offer internal information in a simple and approachable manner to all employees. The migration of data was facilitated and automated by using various tools that  take into account  established selection criteria and different migration rules.

All this has been made possible by the use of the Componence Portletsuite. Portletsuite exist of functional components which can be used on each desirable place on a web page. The classification of this is such that each page has a consistent look and feel.

The intranet is the central spot for all internal communication. For example a page from the AGIS intranet exist of news, agenda, web-unwieldly, poll, forum, faq and a notice board. Information (such as procedures) is available as electronic handbook (by subject with classification)

Each division within AGIS has its own homepage where editors and one manager editor take care of the content. This is supported by a built in workflow.
