Air Traffic Control The Netherlands is, next to the management of the civil airspace, responsible for the enhancement and management of technical systems, the distribution of airtraffic information, and the taking care of education for airtraffic control and the looking after airtraffic maps and publications.

For the unit Air Traffic Management the existing intranet has been migrated to ECMsuite. Incentives were, among others, the improvement of the daily content management, the deployment of a stable, manageable and scalable CMS and making it possible to role-out new webinitiatives themselves. As a technical demand it was required for the CMS to be able to run, integrate and manage the existing backoffice JSP and Java files of the internal organisation's IT department.

In 4 weeks time, the intranet was migrated to ECMSuite. After a short training, Air Traffic Control enhances the intranet themselves. Editors are currently filling the system with content. In Q2 of 2005 the intranet will be deployed throughout the organisation.
