Customers can Save  on development costs of enterprise portals by using Componence portlets for BEAWebLogic Portal

Nieuwegein, The Netherlands― 15th of October 2005― Componence today announced that Componence portlets has completed the BEA Validation Program and is now verified to integrate with BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1. By completing this program, Componence can assure customers that Componence portlets are designed to integrate with  application infrastructure software from BEA Systems, Inc.

Componence can provide companies with the ability to compose, extend and maintain enterprise portals by using more than 40 out-of-the-box portlets like news, calendar, faq, poll, question driven survey, forum, search and
advanced forms. Componence  can provide customers with a solution to save significant development time for enterprise portals with rich end user functionality and high value content.

Using Componence portlets can help dramatically reduce development time and costs. In most cases programming is not required, and Componence Portlets are designed so thatusers can  drag & drop Componence portlets
to add the required functionality in BEA Workshop. “Componence has joined the BEA Validation program in order to assure customers that Componence
portlets are designed to integrate and operate with BEA Weblogic Portal and can be used by new and existing BEA Portal customers” said Paul Bot, director marketing & sales at Componence.

The BEA Validation Program runs a set of tests to verify the integration  of partner solutions that are designed to complement, operate with, or extend the BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1.  Partners can validate the integration
of their software applications and solutions with BEA WebLogic Platform 8.1 or test the interoperability of Java controls and integrated development environment (IDE) extensions with BEA WebLogic Workshop 8.1.
The BEA Validation Program is open to all partners enrolled in the BEA Partner Program.

“We’re pleased that Componence is participating in the BEA Partner Program and has taken the extra step to validate Componence portlets with BEA WebLogic
Enterprise Platform,” said Larry Aronovitz, Director Worldwide Partner Program, BEA Systems.  “BEA’s validation program is designed to help accelerate adoption
of partners’ solutions and increase market opportunities by assuring mutual customers that these partners’ technology solutions are designed to integrate with the BEA WebLogic Enterprise Platform.”
